The Steam version has already had 2 updates... GOG is still the initial release... this game desparately needs the updates flowing quickly without the waiting :(
We want updates!
yes, don"t forget us
Steam version just got their 4th title update for this game... the "launch" GOG version is from July 2017... I bit the bullet it and re-bought the game on Steam... this developer/publisher seems to dump games on GOG, then heads for the door... I might be back to buying games on Steam because of this :(
Seems pretty crappy of them not to update the games on ;GOG but steam gets regular updates.. I may start buying games on steam over GOG again because of this..,. Sad really..

Is sad... Love GOG, but I can't be buying games on GOG when there's a chance they'll never get updates when I can just as easily get them on Steam (and most likely cheaper)... I'd rather deal with having to log into Steam to play them vs buying some abandoned title here... I wound up getting a refund on this game from GOG and bought on Steam... interestingly enough, the Steam version of the game has no DRM on it... can launch/play without having Steam open and even copy it to another machine and launch/play that's never had Steam installed on it... also... you can buy on the Humble Store and get a DRM-free copy along with the Steam code. If you can get DRM-free games somewhere besides GOG, GOG is going to have to up their service otherwise, what's the point?
i have a response of developper

Hello Cyril! We have been giving GoG all of the updates. I don't know why they are not making them available. We'll ping out peeps again too, but I would ask their customer support saying that tinyBuild has provided all the updates to GoG, when can we download them.

Wow... what a trainwreck
update 1.1.6 available
It's the same deal with Titan Quest, with every update we have to wait 10 days or more to get it here on GOG, and by that time the next patch is about to come out already. And probably with lots of other games as well that I don't follow.

GOG should really get a move on, they want to take the money for selling the games, but they don't care at all about releasing the patches. It's seriously shoddy business practice, and something needs to be done about it.

Welcome to my world of continuing disappointment over GOG... I pretty much came to the conclusion I'm going to hold off on buying games here till I see things improve on that front (and others)... I have way too many games in my library that are several patches behind the Steam version and those are games that will most likely never see the patches (few years old, etc.)... I even have some games on GOG that have Steam-centric menu options (Workshop, leader boards, etc.) that don't even function... where's the quality control? GOG is supposed to be a "curated" experience where more often than not, even on sale, you pay more on GOG for the game and get an inferior experience. I value a properly working game that's getting the crucial updates it needs over a broken game if that means having to log in to Steam to play it. I even stated earlier that this title has no DRM on Steam, so where's the value proposition in buying it on GOG? Slow or non-existent patches? I know Hello Neighbor is now getting updates, but still... this whole system of developer/publisher sending patches and us waiting on GOG to do something with them? That's too much of an archaic process for modern/new games... can see that process for older non-frequently updated games, but not newly released titles that live or die on patches.

Anyway, that's my rant... feel I've earned it with buying so many outdated and abandoned games on this site.

About Titan Quest, though... that's surprising considering it's THQ Nordic... they're typically one of the few pretty solid publishers here on GOG.
