Just saying. If you're on the fence about buying this one...DO IT! This is one of those games that is good enough, I've played it through about 5 times and never get tired of it.

The combat (controls) is perfectly spaced through the game (not non-stop, in your face), intuitive, fluid, and easy, but very good and intense. Graphics are gorgeous, even in 2021. The game is short'ish and could be played through in ~5-7 hours, but it is great the second, third and fourth times as well. And the audio, is outstanding! Music, ambiance, combat sounds, voice acting and all.

It runs very well/fast with a slight, little stutter here and there (worst thing I could think of) as it loads new areas/textures on the fly. Never had a crash or problem running it from Windows 7 through to the latest Windows 10.

It's an amazing game. The visual are some of the best I've ever played, the sound design with "the voices" is perfect, music is fantastic (I enthusiastically still listen to the soundtrack years after playing the game). Both acting and writing are excellent. The story is immersing and gripping. They did great research with the more serious topics the game touches; it's very telling that the first credited person is their mental health advisor.

I don't share the opinion that combat was easy though. I've never been too good at that part of games (my coordination is not the best in the world). But it's satisfying when you recognize the type of enemy and you realize how to attack them best.

Puzzles were good, a nice portrayal of how Senua sees the world differently than most people.

I really hope the sequel finds its way to GOG.
