I read the release note of "patch 1" on Steam and noticed a lot of changes not yet applied to GOG version (faster loading times, removal of some time limits, game speed bug fixed...).

To the developer or GOG, any idea on when GOG version is expected to be patched too?

It looks like the game is on GOG without publisher's support, I asked questions on publisher's Discord ... left unanswered, need to return the game

Looking at GOGDB, the game appears to have been last patched on GOG in October 2022, so after Steam received the aforementioned Patch 1.

However, the game received a "surprise patch" in June 2025 on Steam, while on GOG it's still missing.

I believe Patch 2 is incorporated into the GOG installer. Patch 2 notes indicate the addition of "Normal" and "Nightmare+" which are both included in the GOG installer.

As for the "surprise patch" in June. I dunno. There's no content in it. Just a few minor bug fixes.

It contains corrections to the translations, which are important for non-English speakers.
