Method in Madness shows 70%

I can see the footprints, "go to the crater", but it's not possible to interact with.
I can't enter the laboratory either and all other locations have disappeared.

Hi, do you mean "disappeared" as in they've literally disappeared from the map? Or are they just closed? We've had at least one report about disappearing locations but in that case it was caused by updating mid-game from the initial botched GOG release (which was actually a pre-release version only meant for testing). That was the one case where updating the game would mess up saved games (but not global progress such as scenario access and unlockables) and no future updates will do that.

Hi, thanks for the help. They have all literally disappeared. Only the laboratory is closed. I used the v1.1 for the entire "Method in Madness", i.e. I started fresh from 0%.

But I have a theory of what might have happened, I had just found the crater, but it was too late in the evening so I decided to quit and call it a day. Then, the next day when I started it was permanently bugged, so probably there exists one point in time when it's not safe to save, as it cannot be fully restored again.

Do you think there's any chance to hack the save-game to get out of this state? Or some cheat console?
