I'm running on Linux on a nVidia Optimus laptop. The menus are blank using either the Intel card or the nVidia card.
Along with F4LLOUT's solution, can you tell us what drivers are you using for the Nvidia card? Are you using the open source ones or the proprietary ones and if you are using the proprietary ones, can you tell us their version number?
