First off, I love this game. It's probably the one game that holds my attention long enough in "bite-sized" pieces that I can appreciate.
Second of all, it's difficult. Yes, you have to be somewhat strategic than just running into it, and that's one of the things I like about it as well.
However, after installing the latest patch, I can't kill *anything* I hack, I slash, it counts the strikes, but *nothing* dies. It's like the game made the punishment times 10 or more.
Do I need to start over or something? My saved game lands me into instant doom every time, even the little goblins seem to have more longevity than my character. Heck, if my computer had a leg, it would kick me in the junk every time I tried to win one of these battles.
Is it just me or maybe I have to re-start the game after the upgrade and save games are just a wash?
