I love Craft the World and am interested in Hammerting. I just want to know if somebody who played Craft the World already played Hammerting and could point out the differences? The game description and the pictures look/sound as there were a lot of things / mechanics in common?

Is this the case?

Hello, dev here! It has many similarities, but it is by no means a clone. More people have compared it with Wiggles/Diggles actually, none of us in the dev team has played that though. :)
Development is happening quite fast now during the Early Access period, and we have many improvements yet to come. :)

Just bought Wiggles some weeks ago, as soon as I saw it on GOG. I played that too, back at the time and planed a replay.

Having played both, there are similarities, but I think Hammerting is much better. For one Hammerting doesn't scam you with a DLC for female dwarves. Better graphics too! I like that things are more compact, although I do like designing the homes myself instead of having them in self-contained modules. Tech seems more streamlined too.
