I normally keep games firewalled when I don't intend to play multiplayer with them - after all, they have no reason to require the internet when I'm only doing singleplayer stuff.

When firewalled, like I normally keep stuff, it won't start - the cursor shows activity for a moment, then it goes back to normal with the game not actually starting. If I unfirewall it, but disconnect my internet, it shows the same result. There's no error anywhere I can see, the game just doesn't start.

Only when unfirewalled and having an active internet connection, will the game start.
This is not legitimate behavior.
Been looking into this today, hopefully we'll have a fix for it soon

Hi there!

Is there any news on this issue? I am willing to pick the game up - but only if it`s truly DRM free.

All the best!

This has been fixed on experimental, but hasn't been pushed out to the stable branch just yet.

The current plan is to push the patch out to Stable before Christmas.
