Just a quick question: is the Lightspeed Edition of the game, which will launch on 10 August on Steam, also coming to GOG? If not on 10 August, perhaps at some point in the not-too-distant future? Thanks.

Not quite, as far as I'm concerned.
Here is a statement from the Halcyon developers on Steam:

"Hello Commanders!
Some of you may have noticed this already but if you check your Steam Library, you'll notice that we've added a copy of Halcyon 6: Lightspeed Edition to all owners of Halcyon 6 (H6:LE will be playable on Aug 10th!).
Also, for anyone new that buys Lightspeed Edition from Aug 10th onwards, they will get a copy of Halcyon 6: Classic as well (tell your friends )

Will this apply to the GOG version, too? I mean that I get the old game, too, when I buy the new one?

Just noticed that the old version is listed under "goodies" - either I missed it yesterday, or it has been added since then.
