Apparently the device is recognised, but when I try to configure anything, it just doesn't seem to want to respond at all. What am I missing? Can anyone lend a hand on this issue?

Having the same issue.

Haven't had much time to fiddle with the GoG config, but I believe something has to be activated there (as the keyboard controls aren't self explanitory, I had to hit the "U" key to accept and progress through the in-game menus)

There's a separate control setup utility in GG's Start Menu group. Make sure it's set to use the stick, and that everything is bound correctly.

A bit of Google research shows that PS3 fightsticks aren't completely supported on PC. It has to do with something of AMD chipsets or the like. I was getting frustrated after messing around for a while with my SE and TE fightsticks.

I suppose an alternative would be to dual mod the sticks but that will be for another day.

Ah, yeah. Looks like they only play nicely with VIA chipset USB controllers. The "solution" that seems to be working for most people is to install a VIA based USB controller into a free PCI slot. Not ideal by any means, but less work than modding the stick itself.
