I just purchased this game, and am really bummed that it just crashed at the loading screen after the game's startup splash screens. I'm not playing this game through GOG Galaxy, but have downloaded the offline installer if that helps.

I've tried the limited resources on the net about this, and I came across this thread on the Steam forums.

After trying some of these fixes out, I've yet to be able to play the game.

Is anyone else having this issue? If you fixed it, what did you do?

Any help would be appreciated.

Played the campaign for a few hours yesterday with no hitches at all, and I'm on a Win10 machine (64bit, v1909, with not even the most recent Geforce drivers installed) too.

Have you tried starting NOT through the main Grip.exe in the base directory but the Grip-Win64-Shipping.exe (located in GRIP\Grip\Binaries\Win64) instead? Only makes sense if you're on a 64bit version of Win10 of course.
In fact, this could be the culprit if you're on a 32bit version of Win10 and try to run a game that's 64bit only (not sure in GRIP's case though)?

If all else fails, I guess you'll need to try to solve this with support.

I have tried this, and it has not helped unfortunately.
I've opened up a support ticket, so hopefully this can be resolved.
I'm running recent AMD drivers and have tried uninstalling/reinstalling to no avail.
This game looks so fun, and fast. I'm pretty jealous haha

After opening up a support ticket with GOG, the issue was ressolved!
What I did was I had to add an Environment Variable to allow for CPU OpenSSL compatbility.

If anyone else is encountering this issue, then I hope this can help you too!
