For those of us (like myself) who purchased a preorder, will steam keys be made available, since steam also has it now, in their store ? btw. I love my exclusive wallpaper :)

No, GOG sells DRM-free games. They're not a keyseller.

If you pre-ordered it from GOG.com, then I think the answer is no. GOG sells only GOG games, not Steam games.

You might try to bug the developer/publisher though, in case they are willing to give you an extre free Steam key, if you really feel you need one for some reason. In some rare cases it has been possible to activate e.g. a CD key of the GOG version also on Steam, e.g. with ARMA 2 (which GOG doesn't sell anymore), but those are exceptions and GOG.com has no part in it.

Modern PC gamers expect a Steam key wherever they buy...

I guess we can bury the PC altogether. It's not much of a 'master race' if the consumers demand a console like publishing monopoly. Obviously, the consoleros have generally overtaken us PC gamers in flexibility and knowledge about the hobby.

You buy at GOG instead of Steam or one of the countless useless abject Steam "key resellers". You get something much better in return.
