Companeros song (Compañeros song) is no were to be heard in this remastered version,
Schafer there is no "right way" if there is not the proper song playing at the end
You mean gone from the carnival? I heard it in a Let's Play of the Remaster so I wonder if it's a bug?

If it is a bug, it's possible that the missing jingles are also related to that rather than missing from the game altogether?

They were so important I didn't even notice. Clearly no one cares. :)
Yeah, I noticed the missing pieces of music, especially after the pigeons puzzle, and also didn't like that the end credits were changed - the orchestral recording of the main theme was nice to hear, but it kind of jumped all over the poignancy of the ending (too bombastic).

I think it would make sense to have two sets of credits: for the original production first (text on black background, original music), then, second, for the remaster.

The missing jingles may be a bug, but the modified credits are clearly a creative decision, but either way I guess these are things that only people who've played the original will notice.

darthspudius - ah, clearly YOU don't care.

It's a bug. They've announced it's been fixed and will be part of the next patch. Phew.

It's ok, Darthspudius is a hardcore solipsist and is unable to believe that other people actually exist, so when he talks about everyone he actually just means himself.

Exactly right! :D

Really, I just don't see why people care about such little forgettable things. It's not like the Codec call from Metal Gear Solid or the Save Room themes from Resident evil. It's completely forgettable and adds nothing to do the game.

That's debatable, but the bigger concern (it seemed to me) was the different music for the end credits. That can have a big effect on the mood of the ending scenes.

I haven't actually played the remastered edition yet, however, so I can't weigh in myself.
