Actually this script use the installer for the native version to get the game data from.

Using the ./ script instead of the GOG installer will provide a better integration of the game into your environment, so it will be handled by your usual packages manager (no need to hunt down dependencies yourself), can be easily uninstalled/reinstalled, you need to install it only once for all users of a shared system…

Of course the advantages are not as obvious as they are for non-native games, but they still are here ;)
well, that is pretty neat

it outputted 3 different .deb files?

figured it out, you gotta install all three at the same time in the terminal to install the game
