Hey,
Been playing through the Remastered version of Grim and I'm finding the added UI to be really gross and not needed (For Example, see attached screenshot).

Why do you need giant arrows and buttons on the top and button of your inventory, perpetually spelling out how to control the menu? Making matters worse, It's like this with all close up menus in the game and I cannot find a way to get rid of it.

Does anyone know of a mod that removes this clutter (making it like the original)?

They probably did it because it was a cluster fuck when it was originally released.

...I'm a bit confused by your comment.
Do you mean to say the original 1998 version was a cluster fuck? If that's the case, your wrong. The original had virtually no menus and everything was very literal in it's design. However, the remaster slaps in a bunch of UI "help" icons to everything and ruins the original presentation of the game.

I was initially asking if there is a mod to get rid of the above UI (though after some research of my own, there doesn't appear to be).

Anyone else annoyed by the added UI to the Remastered edition?
Even when playing with tank controls theirs a bunch of new UI crap cluttering everything up.

I don't hear anyone complaining about this, even though it goes completely against the original design choice.
EDIT: Again, here's some screenshots of what I'm talking about. Also, I have a screenshot from the commentary mode talking about how it was designed with no UI, yet this version has a massive one.

Nope! It makes sense if you're using a mouse. Nuff said.
