Read the subjects of each topic and no one else seems to have this problem. I'm using Yosemite Mac and get large portions of pink over several scenes of the game. I wouldn't have finished it if I hadn't played the original version before.

Any new versions that might eliminate this issue?

Here's a screen cap. example of a key scene that would be utterly hopeless unless I knew what to do:

Whoa! Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas meets Grim Fandango O_O
Seriously, I think you'll sort this faster by posting on the DF forums or by directly contacting their support.
Looks like it might be related to transparency, but instead of treating the bright pink as transparent, it's actually drawing the bright pink. Bright pink looking like Red 255, Green 0 and Blue 255.

Truly annoying scenery, and that's just one snap of several. Probably should contact them directly, but they want all sorts of system info, diagnostics, etc. Bleh.

Figured it was a programming thing, thus better to have a new version installed. Were it available.

Same problem here. GOG support suggested that we contact DoubleFine directly. I'm typing up my email, and will follow up here if I learn anything useful
