Update
forcing vsync through the nvidia app was my solution.... almost perfect rendering

Hi,
I've been running Grim Dawn again for the past week, previously i played on steam, but i decided to turn over to GoG for several titles in my library. Anyway, i'm trying to eliminate the lag/stutter i experience during play.
Online searches managed to get me a whole lot on the way but i still have some microstutter i can do without.
so far i enabled
- 144 fps, in line with my monitor's refresh rate
- Deferred rendering, window without border, vsync
- enabled max treads to 24 in the settings.txt
Today i want to try to force vsync through the nvidia panel and see if that reduces the stutter, in the meantime i am curious about solutions that i did not name yet but worked for you guys.
oh and my specs of course,
my CPU is an Intel 285K (don't judge) ample amounts of RAM memory and a sufficient 3000 NVIDIA series GPU
thanks in advance!
