I thought GOG was supposed to be DRM free, well having to be logged into Galaxy to play multiplayer (which runs of individual clients NOT GOG servers) smacks of DRM, you can play Grim Dawn multiplayer on Steam without being logged into Steam as far as I'm aware. This needs to be addressed as we shouldn't have to be logged into Galaxy to play multiplayer especially if we're hosting the games and NOT GOG.

Try LAN or Hamanchi see if they'll work.

Wrong. You need Galaxy to find other games and to establish connection. There is no other way how to find running games of people strange to you. It is not DRM. Grimdawn does not have dedicated servers. If you have friends you want to play with, you can setup your VPN and play without Galaxy.
