Spoilers, etc.


So, I'm finished with the first visit to the Sleeper Temple - got the Strange Sword, killed all of the shamans but the last one, got the notice that he's invincible, so now it's time to leave and see Xardas. Carved my way through all the reinforcements back to the temple entrance.

Now, here's the bug - when I step out the cave door to transition zones, it transports me to an empty Old Camp. As in, no objects, no people, barely rendered, etc. Almost like a pre-alpha version of the game. Can't teleport from here or go anywhere else. I've reloaded every single save I have with the same result, except for the one I have before I first entered the temple, and I -really- don't feel like doing the entire thing again, as it's easily the lengthiest dungeon of the game.

Anyone else have this problem or know a fix? I'll move on to the sequel at this point but I'd really like to see this one through to the end if possible.

Have you used cheats while in the temple?

Nope, haven't used cheats at all.

Those seem symptoms of a corrupted savegame to me.
I think the only sure solution is to use the last working one, but let's wait for other opinions.

Never heard of this bug. You could try to use the cheat mode to port to Xardas.
1. Open the character windows (default on s).
2. Write "marvin" (without the ")
3. You can open the cheat console with F2 if you need it again.
4. Now use goto waypoint. (e.g. waypoint tower of Xardas is dt_maingate)
--> goto waypoint dt_maingate

I was able to open the console and enter the goto waypoint commands; tried a few: "goto waypoint dt_maingate"," goto waypoint dt_library", and "goto waypoint nc_pit_center"; had to use the ? key for the underscore, and unfortunately got the following error: "way- or Freepoint not found" for each one. It would seem my saves somehow became well and truly corrupted. Thank you for the suggestion though.
