Another NOOB question when I press TAB or backspace to view my inventory it only shows me weapons I have picked up a lump of ORE a torch and a beer in the first area where you land and I cant seem to find where and what they are. Is there another inventory I am unaware of?
Also do totally unrelated does your Character carry from 1 to 2 and so on?

Afair by pressing right/left while the inventory's open you can switch to the other cathegories. By the way at merchants, chests and stuff you can select more than one of an item by pressing ctrl or shift.(10/100 i don't remember which one was which)

no there is no carry over between the games.

Thank you for your precise albeit downheartening answer about the carry over that is. It would be nice to have the same Character but I guess that with the character creation being missing it isn't that big of a deal.
