I have no idea why, but after installing Gothic and telling it to launch... nothing happens. No nothing. I'm running Windows 10 64 bit and I'm wondering why it refuses to launch for me. Any ideas?

Hello,

You need to install Gothic 1 System Pack.
This should solve start-up problems with Gothic 1.

Had a similar problem with Gothic II on Win10 the other day. Turning off skype worked for me.

That appears to have fixed it. I had Skype running at the time. Seems to run just fine now. If only I could get the action button to work more than if I'm lucky.

Install New version System Pack-1.5.
Then, make the following changes to the files:

for Gothic.ini

zStartupWindowed=0 → zStartupWindowed=1

for SystemPack.ini
[DEBUG]
FixAppCompat=1
BorderlessWindow=0 → BorderlessWindow=1

In full-screen mode can be a problem, and in this mode, through the Alt+Tab should work, including Skype.
