Here at GOG both Gothic 1 and Gothic 2 have their soundtracks included as extras but Gothic 3 does not. Is there any reason for that, and was it ever included as an extra?

You can extract the music from the game files yourself. Download G3Pak and use it to extract Data\Music.pak in the Gothic 3 installation folder. The music files are in OGG format.

That really is a shame, Gothic 3 has probably the best soundtrack I've heard out of all the open world roleplaying games I've played so far.
