I became very annoyed with the player death sound in Gothic 3. It is overly long and loud. And since you tend to die at times often it gets irritating.So I modified the sound file included in the Speech_English.pak included in the game. I have lowered its level a bit and also changed it from a aaauuuugggghhhhhhhhhh to a much shorter auuugh sound. If you wish to install the sound file i have included a link. SImply create a Speech_English folder in your data folder..and a English_ogg folder in that folder and copy the sound file to it. Make sure the file is named SVM_Player_Dead_English.ogg. So the file structure shoud be GOG Games\Gothic 3\Speech_English\English_ogg|\SVM_Player_Dead_English.ogg. For other languages rename the file and folders appropriatelly.

Easiest way to circumvent the rep limit is to post the link without the http part, so the link is still viewable, even if not clickable. Alternatively, if the file is small, you can rename it to .jpg or .png and attach it as image, with the mention of the need to rename.

As for the rep limit, I think it's 7 or 10, so a week of posting in the forums should get you the needed rep. Welcome to the forums, and thank you for improving the gaming experience :)
