hello all

i have problems with gothic 2 and notr expansion: after about five minutes the game freezes and i can only quit by pressing control-alt- delete. and noticed a strange thing in the graphic menu. it says that the graphic card uses directdraw HAL and i have a nvidia geforce 460 gtx and i can't change it.
i also installed the community patches: icp v1.0a and g2icp v2.10.
can anybody help me ?

windows 7 home premium 64 sp1
intel core i5 750 @ 2.67 ghz
4.0gb ram
nvidia geforce gtx 460
onboard realtek sound

The Gothic games have problems on older Nvidia drivers, so the first thing I'd try would be to download the latest Nvidia drivers from this page.

If that doesn't fix it try reinstalling without the community patches.
