Hi guys,

Just a heads up:

I was having some very annoying graphical anomalties while talking to npcs.

After some tweaking in the Nvidia CP, I noticed that my v-sync setting was set to ``use 3d application setting``, which caused Gothic`s 1 frame rate to be locked at 60.

Turning v-sync off actually fixed these graphical glitches while having conversations with the npcs for me, as it unlocked the frame rate.

hope it helps

Btw, my installation consists of GOG version of G1 + player kit + system pack, running at 1920x1080

cheers!

EDIT: unlocking the framerate seem to cause other glitches within the environment while trying to jump and climb around

...and with collision detection, which breaks a puzzle in the Sleeper's Temple (and prevents you from completing the game).

Exactly.

Still I was getting these annoying glitches while talking to most npcs with vsync turned on and what i ended up doing was letting vsync on and limiting the fps to 59.

For some reasing this seemed to fix my problem,
