I'm starting over in G2 with an archer. The same problem faces this character: I need cash for arrows, Bosper's + dex ring, a new bow, donations to Daron, etc. Turning in wolf and boar skins only gets me a limited amount since they don't respawn, and loot so far isn't enough. Is there a solution to this? Thx

Off the top of my head, you can take a loan from the usurer in Khorinis on the way to the docks; it's not much, but it's easy money. Apart from that there is of course the golden rule of CRPGs: steal everything that isn't nailed down. You can grab some nice loot in many houses and shops of Khorinis, not to mention the occasional piece of free gear; there are also several bags of coins hidden throughout the town (not necessarily indoor). Sneaking and lockpicking are of course highly recommended (they are useful throughout the game, not just for stealing) while pickpocketing is not worth it IMO (too risky and not very profitable).
Selling herbs and rare ingredients can also make you a decent amount of cash, assuming of course you are not interested in learning alchemy.
Basically what Avogadro said, but pickpocketing can be really useful (if you plan to invest a bit in DEX). The max amount of DEX needed to pickpocket everyone is only 100-120. Plus, you'll get an increasing number of experience with each successful one.

Pray at the Shrines of Beliar. You have to sacrifice a certain permanent amount of MP/HP. You can only pray once per day and you must have more than 10MP/40HP. You can sacrifice a total of 60HP/11MP for a total of 8500 gold. You'll only get half the money as PAL/KDF.
1MP – 500 gold
10HP – 500 gold
5HP – 250 gold
1HP – 50 gold
Later in the game: sell loot to Sengrath. He'll die in chapter 4 and you should be able to get the loot back (and sell it again).

Great info. Thanks to both of you!
