I am trying to get a crew together in Chapter 5 and want to ask Vatras, but he isn't in his usual place preaching. Myxir is there praying, and if I talk to him he just says he has to be there because Vatras is away. The only other place I have ever seen Vatras is the Sun Circle for the ritual. Is it possible he got killed on the way back?

No, both should be there. Once Raven is dealt with, Vatras can be relieved to go to the sun circle and once done there, he should return where Myixer should say something like, "I'll stay to help Vetras". Probably missed the trigger that actually causes Vatras to return - don't know what that is, though. You might try an old save and repeat.

EDIT: Is it possible you already recruited him but forgot? Check on the warf next to the ship. Also, there is a limit to how many and one is automatic.

No, I went to the ship and saw all the others standing around but not Vatras. I will check the Sun Circle. Maybe it was necessary to just talk to him after the ritual and I missed it. He could be standing there waiting for me to say byebye.

Edit: Yep, he was still at the Sun Circle. When I went there he was fighting orcs, so I shot a few of them and he got the other one. Slacker was waiting for me to talk to him before he went back to where his flock was waiting to hear him preach, and almost got killed for it.

Thanks lordhoff
