The game crashes during the battle on the first encounter against a pair of Incubus it seems to be a known bug. A cheat to win the battle and go on would be an acceptable work around, but neither the cheat works.
Any clue?

I remember that bug.

The freeze occurs when an Incubus mine detonates after ANY Incubus had died. So if you want to avoid this problem, kill the other monsters first, then weaken both Incubuses and kill them in the same turn (so the battle is over before the detonations).
