Is there any news about the arrival of patch 1.4?

The only thing the developers have said in their X account is that they do not plan to release the patch for consoles... will the same happen with their GOG customers?

I also inquired to GOG support about the missing 1.4 patch. This was their response on 11/16/23:

Hello,

thank you for taking your time to report the missing update of the game Gord.

I have already notified our Product team about this issue and they will do their best to resolve it as soon as possible.

If there is anything else I could assist with, please be sure to let me know.

Hello,

Any update about this ?

Thanks
I've gone to their Discord and they haven't even bothered to respond. Curiously, someone who asked about the console version did get an answer, even if it was to tell him that it was going to be difficult for the console version to have updates.

So... I'm losing hope.

The truth is that looking at the number of reviews they have had on Steam, it seems that the game has not had many sales... and if it has not had many sales on Steam, you can imagine how many it must have had on Epic or GOG (or on consoles).
In their Discord they have said this:

"However, please let me clarify that Covenant.dev is responsible solely for the PC-Steam build. After the release we decided to continue working on patches despite our difficult financial situation and Team17 is supporting us in this effort. That said, everyone else version of the game is covered by our publisher's internal dev teams which we have no control over."

So it seems that the people responsible for offering the update for the GOG version is Team17.

Thank you for looking into this. I wish GOG would let us know if they were working on getting the patch issue resolved too.
Well, bad news from their Discord:

"GOG does not count as the PC version, the PC version is counted as the Steam version. There are no current plans for an upgrade of GOG version from 1.3 to 1.4."

I have several Team17 games on the GOG wishlist... now I know I'm not going to buy them (but neither on GOG nor on Steam).

Have been saying it for years, Team17 is not a gog friendly publisher, never have been.
You should be reporting this to that gog person that replied and asking why a publisher is allowed to do this all the time to gog customers.
I wonder if I could ask for a refund of the 20 euros I spent on a godforsaken game.
GoG,

It would be nice if you notified your customers when, yet another, developer abandons their games here. This is becoming quite common place on GoG. I paid for deluxe version of this and downloaded it, maybe, 4 times. Now it's no longer supported? I'm starting to question GoG and it's policies because I have several games from here that the developer has abandoned. I also just purchased the recent addon "he Alliance" and now I'm going to request a refund.

To be fair, it must be said that at the same time they released the DLC they also uploaded the latest version of the game, so it seems that in the end they decided not to abandon the GOG version.
