Right, now this is a thread I made for me but other people can post here at times when they find that they are stuck when trying to continue the game.
I did the first part with the good looking lass and then got to our friends with the base-building part but flying enemies just destroy my base. I put up anti-aircraft stuff but it just doesn't seem to help.
I should expand faster I think but I can't micromanage all.

One of your weapons has a lock-on function for flying enemies. I think you can only get it from an upgraded Item Shop. Use this for those flying patrols. However, if you set up 5 anti-air turrets around the perimiter of your base (i.e. on the small hills your walls are connected to), that should do the job no problems.
