I wanted to use cheats to get through that bloody rescuing wife mission, because I am wimp and can't do it any other way, but it looks like none of cheats work, including even such innocent ones like "fr" that displays your FPS.

Anyone know of a working trainer?

You could try playing with CheatEngine (dunno if it's still free, haven't used it in a while), but it's quite bit of work.
