Does the gog version of Giana Sisters come with advertisement? The humblebundle version of Giana Sisters I have has a popup screen with advertisement for the expansion every time I close the game.

I also read the steam version comes with advertisement for their kickstarter project in the menus and a "bonus" advertisement level as well.

Is any of this in the gog version?

Yes, the popup advertisement is in all DRM-free versions of the game. There have been several threads complaining about it. Originally, it was a nag screen in the DRM-free versions asking the person to buy it (on Steam).

You can rename the launcher tool and that will get rid of the pop up. This will also work with the Humble version.

whats the name of the file which has to be renamed? and where is this file?
i also want to get rid of these advertisements, i've already payed for the game.

In the default install with the latest build, the launcher is in

C:\GOG Games\Giana Sisters - Twisted Dreams\launcher
The file to rename is GSLauncher. If you do this, you will have to change the shortcut so that it leads to the new launcher name. Right click on the shortcut and click properties. You should see a "Target:" field you can change. If you change it to GSLauncher1, the field needs to read:
"C:\GOG Games\Giana Sisters - Twisted Dreams\launcher\GSLauncher1.exe"
This will allow configuration without having the launcher's ads being called up when leaving the game.
