It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Has anyone else experienced this? When trying to install this through Galaxy, it doesn't create a desktop shortcut, neither a start menu entry, even though the option to create a shortcut was checked. Windows "Add/Remove programs" doesn't even list the game and if you try to uninstall it through Galaxy, it doesn't delete a single file from the installation folder. Only happens with this title.
Exactly the same as you.

I am having the same issue, hoping someone will get back to us about this.
What I ended up doing was, I installed the game using the offline installer, then edited the desktop shortcut that was created during installation as follows:

Target:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\GalaxyClient.exe" /command=runGame /gameId=1875167847 /path="D:\Games\GOG Games\Ghost of a Tale"

Start in:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy"

Also, this way the proper files for the uninstallation process are copied as expected. It's a workaround, I hope they fix this.

PS. Change the path to where you install your GOG games, mine is "D:\Games\GOG Games\"
