It annoyed the hell out of me that it is not possible to hide games in Galaxy for each platform seperately. If you upgraded your game from Steam to GOG to have it DRM-free there's no way to just hide the Steam one, Galaxy will always hide the game for each platform so you won't see it on GOG anymore as well if you chose to hide it for Steam. So far it does not seem as if GOG wants to change this since I've told them about it a long time ago but it's not in any update and given the fact that soon every Galaxy user will have to use Galaxy 2.0 we'll have to live with what we have.
Luckily today I figured out a workaround and here is the instruction:
1) Create a new tagfor the game you want to hide (name of the tag is not important) by
right click on the game -> Manage tags -> Add tags -> write the name of the tag into the tags box
2) Add the tag to each game you want to hide by repeating step 1 for each of those (once the tag has been created you can easily add it by ticking the checkbox for it).
Now you just need to filter all games that don't have the tag you added (you do so by clicking on the funnel symbol on top then go to tags and chose every tag except the once you added to show.
The probelm you still have is that Galaxy does not save this state of filtering so the moment you click on any entry on the left side (like i.e. "All games") and go back the filtering state will be back to normal. So to make Galaxy save the filter state you click on the bookmark icon to the right of the arrows above. This will add a new bookmark named like the first one but with added filters.
You can either use this one instead of the original or you can rename the new bookmark (right click and rename) to make it have the same name as the one you just copied and delete the old one afterwards. That's up to you.
Of course I still hope that in one of future Gaalxy updates hiding games for platforms seperately as well as the possibility to save filter states will be added but for now this is what helped me.
