Hey guys,

i was testing out different things and found a bug/problem which i wanted to share with you.

So, achievements do sync quite well between galaxy 2.0 and steam BUT there is a issue, lets say you used a different save game on a steam game and got like 90% of the achievements. After that you load back your old save with, lets say 10% achievements unlocked, then the statistics will update inside steam (you will see 10%) but not in galaxy 2.0, it will stay at 90%. I tried refreshing the integrations and even reconnected steam but nope, no change.

ps: What iam trying to say is, achievements sync "upwards" but not "downwards". Once its on 100% lets say, it doesnt go down anymore even if you have 5% on steam it will stay at 100% in gog.

That's pretty normal. Steam achievements are global, meaning once you've unlocked them once, that's it, they're unlocked forever.

Some games might also have internal per-save achievements, but that doesn't do anything to reset Steam achievements.

Global? Doesnt look like it because i clearly "went down" with my achievements in steam. GoG should change the way they are syncing with steam cause steam has refreshed my achievements.
That's weird, I admit I've honestly never played a game where simply going from save to save resets your achievements. That actually sounds kind of annoying considering how hard some achievements are in some games. X3

Yeah, true, but the issue here is how gog galaxy syncs it. Cause its completely fine on steam. I hope they fix it.
