I feel like this should be something the devs behind GOG Galaxy should be able to accomplish. It should be an easy task in this day and age.
Currently the scrolling feels ugly and I don't understand why nobody complains about it.
Is nobody using Galaxy?
It looks like I'm scrolling at max. 30 fps.
Steam's scrolling is smooth as butter in comparison.
I want to use GOG more and buy games on it but please make me like to use it from a UX perspective. Currently it just feels bad.
The other UX thing that always bothered me is that the Home tab does not have a store search bar. When used it would redirect you to the finished search results on the "All Games" tab.
You would think these things are small and unimportant but to succeed against the top dog you need to make people like to use the UI.
I can live with integrations being a broken or only semi-working afterthought and having no ability to open a game page in a tab but seeing these other UX issues exist for so long makes me suspect that GOG has give up on the Galaxy client.
TLDR: Make me and others LIKE using GOG Galaxy by adding a search bar to the "Home" tab and making scrolling fluid like it is on Steam.
