It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Yesterday, we’ve updated our GOG GALAXY app and implemented the option to change your status to "Invisible". However, this brought unforeseen bugs (e.g. titles seemingly disappearing from your GOG library). While your status is supposed to be invisible, naturally the games shouldn't. That said, it’s not a feature, it’s a bug. Apologies for the inconvenience!

Morgolf: Um, yeah, we noticed.

When can we expect a fix? Or possibly a rollback to a version that was usable until the new update is fixed?
We just fixed the following:

- launching games with multiple commandline arguments, e.g. DOSBox, ScummVM games
- An issue where the games library was empty for accounts with lots of games
- An issue where specific library changes could lead to the games library appearing empty, non-filterable, or some games displayed as “Unknown”

If it doesn't update you can force-update the app by using the installer from gog.com/galaxy.

Let us know if it worked :)

ussnorway: no you didn't fix it but 3 patches in 24 hours is at least trying
What exact problem are you facing?
Do you see 2.0.40 on the bottom of GOG GALAXY settings window?

We really care to know details to confirm if 2.0.40 fixed mentioned problems.

edit: confirmed with Morgolf that (s)he might have been testing on 2.0.39

OHMYGODJCABOMB: So, I decided to install 2.0.40.1 manually...

It doesn't work on Windows 7 as mentioned, but it also doesn't work on my Windows 10 laptop. There isn't even an error message, it just won't start.

Maybe some kind of "redist" is missing? Could you please provide me with a complete list of third-party software required for GOG Galaxy to function properly (vcredist, etc.)?
Unfortunately, I can't answer this question, please reach out to our GOG GALAXY team directly so they can investigate the issue.
