Started, as usual, on Windows login, I *again* noticed none(!) of the integrations had actually connected.

Clicked two "Retry"s, then thought fuck that, let's just restart the whole mess.

The restarted Galaxy had no Origin connection (all others did now connect). Click "Connect"… and get greeted by "Login to Origin".

Sweet. NOT.

What a hot mess this still is. And that's being polite.
Galaxy does not control Origin but only trys to sync with it

if you want the Origin launcher to remember you then tell it (thats Origin) to remember your username and password... also reguardless of what setting you pick understand that Origin remembers the last user

so for example lets say dad and son both use the same computer to play games and Galaxy has dads settings synced

son plays his game (on his accont) then logs out, shuts the system down and goes to bed

the next day dad jumps on his computer to do some gaming and now Origin launcher says he does not own the game... reason = sons account is the one Origin has actually opened, even with Galaxy saying use this Dads account

Galaxy can not override Origin (Epic, Steam etc) and in the above senario dad must sign out of the sons account and back into his before he can play the games
