So I'm trying to add Minecraft Dungeons to GOG but it seems like it's not really working correctly. I had a similar issue with Gears 5 but I'm not entirely sure what I did to get it to work correctly. Seems to be some issue with either Windows Store games or Xbox Beta App games. Even when I try to add the game manually under the listed option, it wouldn't let me add the executable.

Any help to fix this would be much appreciated.

I've also been playing Minecraft Dungeons for a while... although GOG lists my achievements from Xbox PC Game Pass, it does not show Minecraft Dungeons as an installed game or able to launch it... I've since reported as a bug...

Now that you mentioned it I checked for myself and I also see my achievements but it doesn't list it as installed, it also only shows it under an Xbox game, even though I have it installed on my pc. Very strange.
I came here to ask about this as well. I have it installed through Game Pass, and all other games on there that I have installed show up under Xbox in Galaxy 2.0. But Minecraft Dungeons is mia. And I can't even add it manually because the stupid *%$#%#$ files are installed in some locked down part of my system because Microsoft are morons.
So I've found a temporary fix for this issue that will allow you to launch Minecraft Dungeons through GOG Galaxy 2.0

First of all I disconnected the Xbox integration, restarted GOG Galaxy 2.0 and ran sync integrations to make sure it was fully disconnected. I then manually added Minecraft Dungeons through the 'Add game manually' option on the Recent page. I then made a .bat file that launched a Minecraft Dungeons shortcut and then 'Linked executable' and pointed it to the .bat file. I did this because launching Microsoft Store games is quite janky and you gotta find a work around for it to work. Lastly after I launched the game through GOG Galaxy 2.0 I restarted it and reconnected the Xbox integration.

This worked perfectly, thank you so much!

Although I'm not the person you mentioned I can help you out.

Basically create a new text document on your desktop, type out the command in the document, save it, then change the file type to .bat instead of .txt (make sure you can see the file extensions).

Hi, I tried to follow your instructions but when I hit the play button in the GOG launcher I get the following message: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this?

EDIT:

I found a fix, happy days! Here is a link to a step by step guide: guide by auliyaa33.
