Recently I have been playing games like Quake III Arena, Thief Gold and some games not on GOG like the original Age of Empires. I know before this ever happened. GOG would count my playtime session whenever I would launch the game. Now it will show that I haven't played the game in this number of days and the number of hours played.

is there a way to fix this or wait for a GOG Galaxy update?

Is this still going on? Recently I've been playing Painkiller Black Edition, launching it through Galaxy, but my playtime didn't count. Overlay and cloud saves work just fine though.

I have the same problem suddenly with most games. I tested now Graveyard Keeper, Alan Wake, Wartales, Spellforce 3: Reforced and Iron Harvest (all games buied on GOG) and also World of Warcraft Classic (not on GOG), my playtime is not counted any longer (Alan Wake btw never counted my playtime, all the other games did).

But it still works with Hogwarts: Legacy (on GOG) and Dead by Daylight (not on GOG). That's absoluteley weird....

Not working on Gwent either.

Also Heroes of Might & Magic I & II.

Stopped counting playime for all my games few days ago.

figured out a solution. Uninstall and then reinstall GOG Galaxy. Right now my playtime session is being tracked.

Didn't do that, but my playtime from yesterday just got added. Think it's simply that the maintenance period is over.
