Every time I have gog Galaxy running in the background a little window will pop up saying that it's going to change some settings to optimize things, so my computer goes into high power mode then never goes to sleep. What if I had an OLED monitor that shit would be burnt out because of this "Feature" I have high power settings set to switch off the monitor in 5 minutes and set the computer to sleep in 10 minutes but it never actually does this in high power state so I keep it on balanced for a good god damned reason. I need to know how to turn off this setting that changes my power states, that or I need to uninstall GoG Galaxy and never use it again.
1. Open a support ticket if you want to report a bug.
2. I'm reasonably sure that's Windows deciding what's best for you, not GOG Galaxy messing with your power settings.
3. If you have administrator access, you can use Group Policy Editor to lock the power plan. Fix Power settings keep changing - The Geek Page for details.
this is indeed his system and nothing to do with Galaxy

letting a computer think for you = what did you expect?

option 1 learn about power settings and make your own custom one that covers your actual needs
option 2 - put up with with your system deciding when to sleep
