Is there a way to stop this? I really don't use it much, but causing unwanted popups really makes it obnoxious to use.
I opened GOG galaxy to update the game while I work on some typing in my web browser.
But as GOG Galaxy updates the games it keeps stealing the screen focus (which programs shouldn't ever do...) and bringing up dialog boxes. The problem is I hit a shortcut key and the dialog closes before I even get to see what it was.
So after this happening three times tonight it's now re-verifying the files for my game for some reason and I presume going to start another attempt at updating.
I'd really rather to not have to babysit the program to get it to update... or do I just need to minimize it or something to keep it from stealing focus?
UPDATE:
Okay, on the second run I have some ideas of what went on.
The game is Age of Wonders: Planetfall.
It seems this latest update added a "Paradox Launcher"
So I'm guessing what I did was somehow get the Paradox Launcher installer running, but canceled it via shortcut keys. Then I suspect GOG Galaxy had questions about this, or notifications about the update failing or something, but I've no idea what those dialogs said.
