It can now close normally, open normally, close again normally, open again normally...

Finally! Thank you GOG for at least putting in the bare minimum.

Also on PC. No more annoying GalaxyClient Helper.exe crashing (creating CrashDump files) when launching GOG Galaxy. :D
I'm honestly kinda stunned they fixed this. They've ignored it for literal years so I thought they didn't care about the app at all...
Pleased to report that the MacOS version now finally does work as expected.
Arigato GOG!
Absolutely unreal. Confirmed that the app quits as expected here too. What a time to be alive!

Funny, GOG.com finally fixed their software just in time for my big big half-a-century b-day!
Due to this update fix, I have unintentionally discovered couple of their DOA 32-bit games (64-bit MacOS), and couple of won't-start-at-all games in my collection. I have my doubts GOG.com will ever bother updating them into 64-bit era.
Still an issue when you move between VPN networks (Wireguard, OpenVPN) -- if GOG is reading this and you need diagnostic info PM me.
