Anyone having lag issues with gog galaxy? When clicking on a game and opening its page, the screen slowly refreshes the page as it's resolving it. Really laggy and slow. Anyone else having this issue?

I have the same problem. It's never been particularly fast, but it's gotten worse since the last update. Is there a solution for this?

Bumping this thread as I am having the same issues. It isn't laggy on any other screen aside from when you click on a games box art and go to its page.

Having the same issue with lastest GOG Galaxy on Windows 11. It's absurdly slow and laggy on a bran new gaming laptop where everything else goes blazingly fast.

This can happen if you have a big library and use multiple integrations which is one of the reasons why I now use Galaxy only for GOG games. The app has never been very fast regardless. It can lag from time to time, especially when scrolling the library.

I have no Intergrations at all. 0. And my library refreshes fine and fast. It's when click in a game and going into the game page, it almost completely locks up gog client it's so slow.

Hey everyone.
I was having the same issues as well, where Galaxy would lag like hell when clicking on a game cover icon in the owned or installed games library.
The fix that I found to work, is disabling cloud saves under settings and game features.

Same problem here. GOG galaxy is broken. This program is abandonware.

My GoG Galaxy isn't laggy, it just crashes for no reason when i try to start a game. Never had iussues before. WTF is going on?

For me the solution was very simple.
Go to 'C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy" or directory that matches your setting and delete the webcache contents along with logs and crashdumps.
Massive performance increase after the fact.
