I purchased Baldur's gate 3 and am trying to use the GOG Galaxy to install it, it gets to 92% and the installation speed drops to .3-.5mbp/s and just sits there, I have left it over night, rebooted the PC, cancelled the install and retried, changed installation directories and even completely uninstalled GOG Galaxy along with deleting the APPDATA as well,
Nothing seems to be working.
I tried the offline installer but when launching it seems to think something is corrupted or is modified, I have also tried installing it offline and using GOG Galaxy to Verify/Repair the install with no luck as it just sits there doing nothing, it was left over night and was still "verifying" the next morning.
My internet speed is definitely not the issue as prior to the 92% mark it is 47MBs + and only drops once it hits that magic percentage,
Hard drive is a brand new 2TB Intel SSD P Series, health checks fine and all other installation of games/programs is perfectly functional.
I can see a few topics of other people having similar issues with other games through GOG Galaxy so the issue does seem a bit more spread but no one seems to have a fix.
If it keeps up I may have to get a refund and purchase the game through Steam.
