What is happening to GOG Galaxy 2.0? Battle.net, Origin/EA, Ubisoft Connect, PSN Network... they've not worked in many months. Steam as well, but I found a workaround for that recently. I mean come on. It's my most favourite app when it works, but recently it feels like abandon ware. It gets updates, but it's pretty much only related to the GOG Store.

Is CD Project RED not caring about their reputation anymore? We've been patient for years and I don't mean to be harsh, or maybe it's time to be? It's getting embarrasing. At least my view on CD Project RED as a valued brand is almost gone.
The integrations were always farmed out to the community, they never cared about them. If you want an "everything" launcher that works, use Playnite. GOG really needs to kill the integration feature dead so people stop thinking it's worth anything.

At the same time it's the de facto selling point "GOG GALAXY 2.0 - All your games and friends in one place" followed up by "Organize your games across platforms into one functional and beautiful library.". Neither is no longer really true.

It's been so long now, that I would switch to Playnite if I liked it. I really dislike Playnite, but that's another story XD They also do struggle with plugins from time to time, but perhaps not as much?
Yeah, the app barely gets updated anymore. I mean, it works but you can tell GOG are not as committed to it as they were when it first launched. I stopped using integrations years ago and now only use it for GOG and DRM-free games.
The last update was in November, so just before christmas/new year.
They aren't a very huge team and I don't think they have someone that is working 100% only on the client. They are most likely jumping between the client and other backend related stuff.
They seem to have been looking for a data engineer for some time now as well. One person can make a huge difference. So, my guess is that they are somewhat understaffed.

Also, they seem to waste time on this kind of stuff aswell
Autoremoved apperantly.
Well, just look at the stuff at the bottom and you will understand what I mean......

One advice to all of you Download your games offline installer and make a secure backup, this company have proven they don't care about you only you money. So be on safe side make a backup all games you have in your GoG account.
Heh, the only genuine updates to the thing in two years have been to try to make sure you know what DLC is available for your games, and what's on sale. "For the gamer" my ass. What a gimmick that is these days. I was there when that was actually true, as you can see. So I know. It hasn't been true for quite awhile now. What a pitifully successful modern lie.

Oh, and just because you can play the games without a launcher? That's not impressive in the slightest, so get over it. Especially when you consider that things like cloud saves aren't happening if you do.

Despite the sad state GOG Galaxy is in, I'm still going to support these guys and their vision. But please GOG, get your act together, hire staff and fix the launcher.
