Hi,
since 1-2 weeks the Galaxy client on my machine tries to update, starting with the Visual C++ package, but fails after that. In my Programs and Features i see the Visual C++ package apparently was installed (as it is every day now...) and if i try to manually install the client it tells me, that the same or a newer version is already installed.
Can i disable the auto updates of the client? I wasn't able to find an option for that. Alternatively i can try to remove whatever triggers the update in some config files, but i haven't found anything useful yet.
Cheers,
xenomat

Just fyi i deleted the file "selfupdate.json" and that seems to have helped for now. Still interessted if anyone has anything to say though. :)
