client version 2.0.17.61

something ive noticed, is that gog galaxy 2.0 has really high disk usage. ill start the client after 30 seconds (roughly) it'll start thrashing my C: drive ssd. it seems to be writing between 2-6MB/s of...something? and it'll just keep going like that until i terminate the process. and i do have to terminate it, because if i try to exit from the client menu, it wont respond.
galaxy isnt even installed on C, its on a physically different drive.

is this a known issue or something?

This (2-6MByte/s) isn't really that high compared to the available bandwidth on a SSD, nevertheless it shouldn't do that constantly, i agree. If you like to find out, what it is actually doing, you could use the Sysinternals Process Monitor to see, which files it is reading from/writing to:

huh...

to quote adam savage: "well, there's your problem"
guildwars2 integration plugin being stupid, i guess. storage.db and storage.db-journal. removing the plugin is an easy-enough workaround
