If you just want to manage your GOG games its working but all other integrations are failing. Steam its completely dead. Ubisoft cant stay loged in. Epic and EA are working i don't know about xbox. It is not new problem. Integrations had problems before but they worked. For longer time you cant menage games between multiple store fronts. Be warned.
I kind of agree. I think they will continue supporting it but it's clear they have not been able to fulfill their original vision for the app. In my opinion, they should just scrap the universal launcher idea and just concentrate on making it a great launcher for GOG games.

Nothing's changed. It's been like that a long time. Epic and Amazon work fine except for delays occassionally with Galaxy recognizing ESG giveaways. The Uplay integration has required an annoying fix to be done for a long time. You do it once, and it's done, and the solution is well documented at this point and easy to find online. It's annoying GOG hasn't fixed this, but it's not an issue once you do the fix, and it's been like that a long time. There's no point in using Galaxy for your Steam library in the first place as far as I can see, since Steam already has perfectly fine library organization options, so I don't see Galaxy's usefulness -- which is huge for me for GOG, EGS, and Amazon in particular, don't play many games on Uplay or Origin or Battlenet -- having changed at all recently.
After weeks of waiting for the Steam problem to be resolved, I followed a recommendation from a forum user and installed Playnite. So far, it is excellent! Better than Galaxy in every topic but visual, images and user evaluation (stars).

There is a lot of information automatically got from the web or game shops; also useful links, game classification (and import Steam categories for a more leisurely start), different views, and configurable and creatable filters.

I recommend the transition.

At this point, I strictly use Galaxy for my GOG games and I just use Playnite to manage everything. It sucks that Galaxy has become so problematic at this point because man, it had potential to be AWESOME. At this point, I think GOG should just ditch the all-in-one thing and focus on making it a better client experience for our GOG library.
