So how bad will Galaxy 2.0 screw up my current installs via Galaxy 1.2.57? I have quite a bit of fan patched and modded installs of games that took some time and effort to fix up, and I don't want them overwritten by a Galaxy 2.0 reinstall. Should I just wait to use 2.0?

The new Galaxy installation overwrites your previous version but does not rescan or update massivelly your games folder. It works just like a client update, not like an install from scratch

That's very good and what I was hoping for. Much thanks for the answer.
